Ms. Miren Iturburu Yarza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Universdad del País Vasco (Spain), she was granted by the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia in 1990-1994, and as results of her work she published 5 papers on specialized journals of chemistry.She is expert in Psychosocial Intervention in Gerontology, by Fundación INGEMA and Lahar Elkargoa in 2009 and currently she is studying a Master degree in Aging at the Universidad de Murcia (Spain).
Her career path has always been closely related to research as she has worked as technician and researcher to develop and innovate printing inks at a private company (Hunolt, S.A.) until 2007. That year she started working at Fundación Ingema as researcher in different projects related to the elderly and disabled people mainly in the field of the health. Within INGEMA she coordinates and participates in different national and European research proyects such as: Soprano, SaveAge, Agnes, Flexidesc, Saleme, Senifood, Canox, etc.
