In the new Person-Centred attention model, the intervention of the professionals must be coherent with the principles of that referential model: autonomy, independence, well-being, privacy, etc. The attention develops through accompaniment processes and interpersonal communication, what entails a redefinition of professional profiles.
The objectives of the Project on the Definition of Professional Profiles are the following:

To identify the professionals that the centres need for a correct attention.

To define their profile, abilities and personal competences, professional training and the interrelation with the referral region.

To define the necessities of specialized professionals, the functions they will develop and the best way to render their services guaranteeing the approach of a referral centre.

To make progress in itineraries and coordination models of professionals that carry out their activity in a referral centre with professionals of public services directed to the whole population.

To define training and attitudinal necessities, as well as the needs for the development of the values of those professionals who take part in the development of the project in the pilot centre.
